Website Data Practices

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how information is handled when you visit Shadowrocket Guide. It applies to site pages and browsing interactions; it does not replace the app’s or App Store’s privacy disclosures.

1. Scope and Service Boundaries

This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual, with static pages covering how to verify the genuine app, purchase information, and setup guides. You can browse without creating an account or providing an email address. This site has no forms for submitting subscriptions or server details and does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscription services.

The guides assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. A one-time app purchase is not a service plan. Buying the app, using an existing service, and browsing this site are separate activities. This policy covers only information handled during site visits; it makes no claims about the app’s connection process or how service providers handle information.

2. Visit Data and Analytics

When your browser requests a page, the hosting service processes technical information such as your IP address, requested path, access time, response status, and browser request headers to deliver content, troubleshoot errors, and maintain service security. This is different from information visitors actively submit; this site has no account records or email list for visitors to manage.

This site uses analytics to understand page visits, navigation, and guide readership. It also records a click event when you click the App Store button on the download page. Analytics help identify broken links, improve site structure, and assess whether information is easy to find. A click does not indicate that a purchase, installation, or connection took place.

Analytics may include page URLs, referring pages, and device and browser categories. Do not include passwords, full subscription URLs, or other sensitive information in site URL parameters. Analytics do not need this information, and you should not include it in problem descriptions.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies and local storage are separate ways for a browser to save small amounts of information. Whether analytics use cookies or save a visit identifier depends on the active configuration and your browser permissions. Analytics identifiers are not site login accounts, and they are not used to create app purchase records.

Site navigation and guide content do not require local storage to be enabled. If your browser has saved preferences or analytics identifiers for this site, you can review, clear, or restrict them in your website data settings. Clearing data may reset saved preferences. Restricting analytics requests may mean some visits are not counted, but you can still read the static content directly.

Website data stored in your browser is separate from records held by the hosting service. Clearing cookies or local storage does not delete access records already created on the server. This site does not make unverified claims about a standard retention period.

4. External App Store Links

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the only place to get it is the App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Once you open it, account sign-in, payment, purchase records, and related data handling are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy. This site does not collect payment details or Apple Account passwords.

This site records clicks on the App Store button; it does not read the store page or receive transaction results. Before purchasing, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the app ID, 932747118, and the official icon. Check the App Store page for device compatibility, system requirements, and purchase availability.

5. Policy Updates and Questions

If the purposes for handling site information, analytics configuration, or browsing features change materially, the relevant terms will be revised on this page and the “Last updated” month at the top will be changed. The revised notice applies from its publication date. Matters relating to earlier activities should be understood in light of the notice published at the time.

For questions about purchasing, importing, or connecting, first consult the troubleshooting sections in the Getting Started Guide or the Complete User Manual. When describing an issue or saving a screenshot, redact account details, subscription URLs, server credentials, and payment information. This page has no form for uploading information, and you do not need to provide sensitive details to read the help content.
